Musées
Contemporary Art Museum
The museum is located in the center of Athens, in the district of Kynosárgous, not far from the Acropolis Museum. It occupies a part of the old brewery Fix built in 1961 by two Greek architects students of Le Corbusier.
Since February 2020, after three years of restoration, the National Museum of Contemporary Art is again open to the public. It now has a permanent collection, temporary exhibition spaces, a library, an archive room and offers educational programs aimed at raising public awareness of contemporary art.

Collection
The museum brings together contemporary Greek and international works of art, with an emphasis on the 21st century. The collection includes painting, sculpture, mixed constructions and installations, drawings and prints, photography, video art and works incorporating contemporary audiovisual or technological means, as well as performance documentation.
The international collection focuses on the situation in Greece, at the southeastern tip of Europe, on the border with Turkey and the rest of the Balkans, and near the Middle East and North Africa.
Rebecca Camhi Gallery
Since 2008, the gallery Rebecca Camhi is housed in a neoclassical building in Metaxourgeio, in the center of Athens. The gallery exhibits different media, painting, sculpture, photography, film, video, drawing, engravings.
The gallery focuses on contemporary art by promoting and collaborating with international artistic personalities: among others, note the photographic work of Nan Goldin, whose newspaper The Ballad of Sexual Dependency is powerfully transgressive.
George Benias Gallery
Since 2018, the gallery Allouche Benias offers a selection of artists, painters and photographers.
Among the artists represented, we like the appropriations of Alexandra Doré, whose technique combines digital printing and screen printing on canvas in caustic compositions.
Gagosian Gallery

Opened in 2009, the Gagosian gallery is dedicated to organizing major exhibitions of contemporary art, while presenting earlier works from the modern era. Gagosian Athens is one of the 14 galleries in the world—5 in New York, 1 in Beverly Hills, 2 in London and Paris, and 1 in Rome, Athens, Geneva and Hong Kong. Moved in 2020 to a fully restored residence dating from the interwar period, the Gagosian gallery offers exhibitions by leading artists, such as Henry Moore (2024), Anselm Kiefer (2024), Ton Wesselmann (2026), Stanley Whitney (2025).
Zoumboulakis Gallery

In 1973, the Zoumboulakis gallery opened a vast exhibition space in the heart of the Kolonaki district. The space aims to attract a large audience to contemporary art and the catalog presents the works of more than fifty artists.
