After studying fine arts in the early 1970s, Luc Millet took part in numerous exhibitions in France and abroad.
Luc Millet “works almost exclusively on paper with pigments mixed with linseed oil and turpentine”.
“The construction of the canvas is a succession of different coloured juices applied to the paper support with brushes and rollers. I superimpose the layers of colour and, as the roller passes over them, I create traces that form the material of the canvas. I also use cutter blades to scratch the paper and create traces that will be loaded with coloured juices.

Luc Millet lives and works in Saint Jean de Boiseau, not far from Nantes.
