Première exposition en 1986 à l’Hôtel des Colonies (Nantes), puis à la galerie Espace Navarro à intervalles réguliers.
De 1995 à 1998, son travail est montré par la galerie Francis Barlier de Paris (Honfleur, Ile de Ré, La Réunion…)
Pendant ce temps, il poursuit son travail en Vendée (Apremont), puis en Ariège (Saint- Girons).
Installé en Loire-Atlantique depuis le printemps 99, il continue sa recherche de la “lumière essentielle” et du dépouillement des artifices, sans souci d’inscrire son travail dans une quelconque modernité.
Traitant désormais sans opposition figuration et abstraction, il se dit lui-même chercheur en peinture, obstinément.
